North Dakota Work Site Safety Program Manual -- Page 1
Dear North Dakota Employer:
Welcome! We're glad you have chosen to participate in the North Dakota Work Site Safety Program. Your participation in this program will save money, and most importantly, lives.
Traffic crashes cause immeasurable human suffering and loss. It has been proven that wearing a safety belt and never getting behind the wheel distracted or impaired drastically reduces injury severity and the number of fatalities.
This program was developed to increase safety belt use and eliminate distracted and impaired driving. Our program may serve to establish a new or enhance an existing safety program in your organization. Developing partnerships with North Dakota employers is critical to the success of this program. The North Dakota Work Site Safety Program manual is filled with information and ideas on how to implement your safety program today.
We would like to thank the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for allowing us to mirror some of their materials.
Good luck and thank you for your commitment to traffic safety! Together we will make a difference!
Sincerely,

Marsha M. Lembke, Director
Drivers License and Traffic Safety Division
